Garrett County Job Fair open to all job-seekers
More than 50 businesses and organizations expected at May 2nd event
The annual Garrett County Job Fair will take place on Tuesday, May 2nd from 1-6 p.m. at the Garrett County Fairgrounds Ag Heritage Hall.
"The Garrett County Job Fair has been bringing job seekers and employment opportunities together to serve the Garrett County community for over 30 years," said Garrett College Assistant Director of Community and Professional Education Kaitlyn Glotfelty, who oversees the job fair. "We expect more than 50 businesses and organizations to participate in the job fair."
Glotfelty said the Job Fair is open to residents of Garrett County as well as surrounding communities.
"Experienced and entry-level job seekers, including high school and college students, are encouraged to attend," she said.

The Garrett County Job Fair is offered through a partnership between Garrett College, the Allegany County American One-Stop Job Center (serving both Garrett and Allegany counties), the Western Maryland Consortium, the Garrett County Department of Social Services, and Garrett County Business Development.
